The Magic Buttoner and Shirt Magic aid in buttoning pants, shirt, cuff and collar buttons. It is used by engaging the button with the fork and sliding it through the button hole. Once the button is through the button hole you take your other hand and squeeze the button leaving it in the hole as you withdraw the tool.

This is especially helpful when you are not able to perform the traditional buttoning motion - or for those stubborn collar buttons.

When buttoning cuffs you use the same technique only using the cuff hand to hold the tool allowing the other hand to squeeze the button securing it in the hole.
